We formed the “Japanese Graduates’ Alumni Association of Sri Lanka” JaGAAS in 1994, to promote Educational, Cultural, Social, and Economic cooperation between Japan and Sri Lanka.
During the last 29 years, we have done so many activities with the support of the Japanese Embassy of Sri Lanka and other associations like JICA, JETRO and Japan Foundation, Japanese Business Association, and other Japan Sri Lanka cooperation-related agencies.
I would like to appreciate all the former Presidents, Secretaries, and Treasurers as well as all the EXCO members and volunteers of JaGAAS who tirelessly committed themselves to delivering results to promote Educational, Cultural, Social, and Economic cooperation between Japan and Sri Lanka.
In the future, we plan to implant more innovative programs like JaGAAS Awards, Promote Japanese Education and Employment Opportunities, Joint Research between two countries, Link with other Global Japanese Alumnus, etc.
I expect all of your support and collaboration to make our Vision, Mission, Goals, and Objectives achieved together during the next few years as totally committed team towards one team.
